Lower Crossroads, a densely populated township within Philippi, faces a severe food security crisis. A significant portion of the population, at least 20%, is experiencing acute food insecurity, characterized by the highest level of food shortages. This crisis has left 22,920 individuals in an emergency state, 68,759 in a crisis, and 137,517 under stress. To address this pressing issue, a systematic approach is necessary to identify and address the underlying determinants of malnutrition and inequality within the community. By understanding these factors, we can prioritize interventions, allocate resources equitably, and create healthy, sustainable, and equitable nutrition communities.
