benefits TO SPAR

Spar has been the most valued partner for Operation Hungers efforts in fighting against hunger and malnutrition, thus creating sustainable food secure communities.

In addition to their ongoing investment through their CSI portfolio this will enable them to become leaders in propelling/ sparking the much needed action towards the burden of malnutrition in the South African communities. The campaign will not only propel action amongst their immediate partners and customers but it will influence the conversation around nutrition and lack thereof.

Campaign will also just highlight and give focus around the investment that they put towards Nutrition as food actors.

The Covid-19 and the KZN floods alongside the 2022 looting resulted in Spar losing its 54 stores and this could be a good strategic way to basically engage new customers and drive them into their stores.

Positive brand image: Supporting Operation Hunger can help create a positive image for your brand. Customers are more likely to support a brand that is actively involved in giving back to the community. This association can have a significant impact on how your brand is perceived and can enhance customer loyalty.

Increased brand visibility: Sponsoring the Sustainable Nutrition Campaign provides excellent exposure for your brand. It is an opportunity to reach a wider audience and increase brand visibility. Your brand’s logo can be featured on marketing materials, press releases, and other promotional materials related to the event.

Employee engagement: Supporting the Sustainable Nutrition campaign can boost employee morale and engagement. Employees feel proud to work for a company that is involved in giving back to the community. It can also be a great team-building activity, as employees can participate in charity events and volunteer opportunities whilst participating in a monthly draw.

SPAR Gift E-Voucher: As the prizes will be distributed in the form of SPAR E-Vouchers, this is a great opportunity to promote the product. Every entrant into the monthly draw will be aware of the prizes and awareness around the E-Vouchers will grow.

BENEFITS OF FACE TO FACE FUNDRAISING

Face to face fundraising can be an effective way for non-profit organizations to raise funds and connect with potential donors. Here are some of the benefits of face to face fundraising:

Personal Connection

One of the main benefits of face to face fundraising is the ability to make a personal connection with potential donors. By engaging in one-on-one conversations, fundraisers can build a relationship with the donor, which can lead to increased donations and long-term support.

Increased Trust

Meeting a fundraiser in person can increase a donor’s trust in the organization. By seeing the fundraiser’s passion for the cause and hearing about the impact of the organization’s work, donors are more likely to feel confident in their decision to donate.

Immediate Feedback

Face to face fundraising also allows for immediate feedback from donors. Fundraisers can answer questions and address any concerns the donor may have, which can help overcome objections and encourage donations.

Higher Donations

Studies have shown that face to face fundraising can lead to higher donations than other methods. This is likely due to the personal connection and increased trust that is built during the interaction.

Increased Donor Retention

Face to face fundraising can also lead to increased donor retention. By building a personal connection with the donor, the organization can keep them engaged and informed about the impact of their donation. This can lead to long-term support and continued donations.

Valuable Donor Data

During face to face fundraising interactions, fundraisers can also gather valuable donor data, such as contact information and donor preferences. This information can be used to personalize future communications with the donor and tailor fundraising efforts to their interests.

Overall, face to face fundraising can be an effective way to raise funds and build relationships with donors. By making a personal connection, increasing trust, and gathering valuable donor data, non-profit organizations can increase donations, donor retention, and overall support for their cause.
