Our campaigns

The Operation Hunger Strategy is guided by the Convention on the Human Rights of which recognises the right for every human to nutrition. Malnutrition, in all its forms, is a violation of this right. Hence, the Strategy aims to contribute to addressing the triple burden of malnutrition: undernutrition, both stunting and wasting; deficiencies in vitamins and other micronutrients; and overweight, obesity and diet-related noncommunicable diseases.

Our

Vision

A world where all children, adolescents, women and men realise their right to holistic nutrition.

Our

Mission

To provide, protect and promote diets, services and practices that support optimal nutrition, growth and development for all.

Our

Objective

Build resilient, food-secure communities. Improve nutrition for all ages. Advocate for strong nutrition policies.

we are industry experts in Malnutrition

For 47 years Operation Hunger has not only shown great concern but taken positive action by using the concept of nutrition equity to address the burden of malnutrition. In doing this, we pinpoint, develop and prioritise key program interventions that amplify efforts and propel sustainable progress towards ending hunger & malnutrition in all its forms.
